The eyes are man's most exquisite and most important sensory organs. Our Norman Optometrists assess our environment initially only through our eyes. No camera manages what our eyes do every day. They distinguish between light and dark, they can perceive color, texture, recognise spatial contrasts and adapt effortlessly and rapidly to every distance and all light conditions.
Seeing is so natural that we simply expect to see clearly.
Not seeing well leads to many restrictions. Reading or watching television, for instance, becomes more difficult. Jobs and social contacts may suffer. Expressed differently: seeing better means living better. For these reasons a person should seek regular yearly eye health and vision examinations.
Our Norman Optometrist Eye Care Center not only specializes in eyeglasses and contacts, we also provide eye services for eye exams and general Optometry services, our local Norman Optometrist is located just East of the University of Oklahoma campus, making your next visit to the eye care clinic fast and convenient.
Our disposable and extended wear contacts include popular brands including Acuvue brand contacts and Freshlook brands as well as night & day breathable contacts.

Today there are a multitude of contact lenses that are available. In the not too distant past specialty lenses were quite limited in parameters and power ranges. Today most people can be fit with contact lenses. Our practice routinely fits contact lenses for people with high amounts of astigmatism, progressive power contacts for people that normally would need bifocals and for people with special corneal problems such as keraticonus. Only after a thorough evaluation and consultation can the best lens for you be determined. The one size fits all philosophy does not give a person their best vision and visual comfort. In addition, we use a programmed computer calculator that allows us to achieve the very best vision and fit for toric lenses. A toric lens provides vision correction for people with a significant amount of astigmatism.
